I admit

I am quite

a cleanliness freak.

When I take a dump

in the toilet,

I get really annoyed

by shit left on the toilet bowl,

that would not flush away.

I will remain in the toilet cubicle

and keep on flushing repeatedly

until all traces are gone.

I would be so embarassed

if the next guy

gets to see my shit.

It suddenly occurred to me

that failed marriages or relationships,

are like shit

that wouldn't

flush away.

And the next person,

will always curse you

for leaving

traces of shit

behind.

Took me two weeks,

to recover

from the World Cup.

Another world cup over

and another 4 years to go.

Have to say I quite enjoyed it.

There were some moments

of pure magic.

Argentina's performance

against Serbia

comes to mind.

That is what

the beautiful game

is all about.

They truly deserve

the world cup,

but life is such.

The best does not always

get what they deserved.

England was clueless

as usual.

Can't play the game

but still think

they have something

to teach the world

about football.

Diving and cheating

has become

a real cancer

in the game.

With today's TV technology,

these divers and cheaters,

should be brought up

after the game,

fined, suspended

and branded as cheats

to put to shame.

Christiano Ronaldo

does it every week

for Man Utd,

and the Man Utd fans

applauded him.

Playing against England,

he is suddenly wrong.

I'm happy for Italy

afterall.

They're the masters

of the tactical game.

Not always nice

to watch.

But they know

how to grind out

a win.

They know how

to close down

a team of flair

and talented players

and get the result

they want.

Zidane maybe

one of the best players

in the world

for the last 10 years.

But headbutting an opponent

is always wrong.

There is no vindication.

It so happens,

he is Zidane

and on the football field,

people say

he was provoked.

If you or me

were do do that

on the street,

we would go to jail

instantly.

So congratulations

to Italy,

He goes on sputtering

his usual rhetoric

about war against terrorism etc

Just who the fuck

are the terrorists

this time?

One or two Isrealis soldiers

got kidnapped,

and they suddenly

have all the right

to kill 300 Lebanese civilians

injuring over a 1000 more?

Destroying cities,

bridges, roads,

power stations, ports,

airports, completely destroying

all civilian infrastructure?

Just because its the people

of Lebanon,

who voted the Hezbollah?

Its the people's choice

and you cannot respect

that its not Isreal's choice?

So you have all the right

to kill

because it was not

your fucking choice?

Just where do you draw

the line here?

One or two

of your soldiers

got captured,

Hey, there were

650,000 imprisonments

of Palestinians

by the Isreali

since 1967!!!

Till today,

some 9000 Palestinians

still languish

in Isreali jails.

Hezbollah rockets

fired into Isreali cities

were just about as effective

as fire crackers.

How about

the thousands

of Isreali military violations

into Palestinian and Lebanese

territory ?

We're not even talking

about the occupation

of Gaza Strip, West Bank, Golan Heights.

When you see the pictures

of the destruction of Beirut,

just who is the terrorist here?

And the US president

gave the Isreali

the moral right

to kill and destroy

with impunity and wanton violence.

Its hard to defend terrorists

but its becoming both clear

and hazy,

with the Americans,

you have to fight violence

with violence.

Because violence

is the only language

the Americans

understand.

The only difference

between Isreal and

Al Qaeda,

is one has the money

to buy tanks and planes

does not.

Early this year,

the government bought

Shin Corp in Thailand,

which ultimately resulted

in Thai PM Thaksin Shinawatra

stepping down

as the Thai public

took to the streets

for Thaksin not paying taxes

from that personal windfall sale

to the Singapore government.

Haha, and Singapore government

dare talk about credibility.

Anyway,

the Shin Corp stock

have lost 40%

of its value,

or S$2.5 billion

in about 3 months.

Hmm, how credible.

I remember,

when DBS bought

Dao Heng Bank in HK,

everyone said

it was over valued

but our credible government

said it was "fairly valued".

5 years later,

these credible guys

wrote of S$1.1 billion

in Dao Heng Bank.

The credible government

semi-conductor business,

Chartered Semi-conductor

have lost over S$1.7 billion

in the last 5 years,

and over 90%

of its stock value.

Any fund manager

would have been fired,

but not Ho Ching.

These credible guys

bought 62% of Global Crossing

and lost close to S$1 billion

in the last two years.

Fuck credibility.

They say

you pay peanuts

you get monkeys.

We pay millions

and we get donkeys.

You don't even need to pay a monkey

a million dollar ministerial salary,

for the monkey to lose

billions of tax payers money.

I can bet you,

the monkey will do

a whole lot better

than your million dollar

minister too.

If this is credibility,

I'd take no credible opposition

anytime.
