Another election

another defamation suit.

I read the SDP newsletter.

Nothing new.

It merely stated that this country's

culture of secrecy, non-transparency

and lack of media freedom

allows fraud like NKF to happen.

Just where the fuck

is the defamation?

Chee Soon Juan is not the first

to critisize this government

and certainly not the last.

George Soros said it before,

Amnesty International said it before,

Reporters Without Borders said it before,

Lawyers Right Watch said it before,

and so has

many others.

What is so defaming about that?

Last election Chee Soon Juan

was made bankrupt

when he asked Goh Chok Tong

what happened to the USD10 billion lent

out to Indonesia.

What is so wrong

with a Singaporean asking

what happened

to our money?

It is tax payers money

afterall.

It took Goh Chok Tong

one whole day

to reply in the press

that parliament decided against

lending Indonesia.

Such a simple answer,

why was it so difficult

to reply to Chee Soon Juan?

When you take so long,

to give such a simple answer

you lose credibility too.

And again,

where the hell,

was the defamation?

It is rightfully

a matter of concern

for Singaporeans

and their own money

Speaking of defamation,

what the hell is so wrong

with defamation?

Defamation should be

an integral part

of political debate!!!

Ok, politicians

get out of line.

Give them a warning

and a small fine

and let the people decide

on their integrity!!!

Do you have to cripple

a politican

when he says something

out of line?

By doing so,

you cripple

political debate!!!

And hence,

you cripple

any form

of political dissent!!!

Now you have the PAP

calling James Gomez

dishonest and a liar.

Lee Kuan Yew said

sue us.

What can James Gomez do?

Sue the government

and in doing so,

show that the PAP

was lying?

Right, I see another

defamation suit,

and another

bankrupt.

Guess what,

I have no fucking interest.

A country deserves

the government they get.

You guys can defame yourselves

to hell,
